01Scene one · the challenge
Surova's portfolio was a single reel page with no text, so it was invisible for 'explainer video studio' queries where buyers start their search.
Surova’s eight animators in Plovdiv had already made films for clients in nine countries — almost all from referrals. International buyers start with a search: “explainer video studio”, “how much does an explainer video cost”. Increasingly they ask an AI assistant. On both, a wordless reel page simply doesn’t exist. The work was world-class; the site gave search nothing to read, nothing to rank and nothing to quote.

02The storyboard · audit findings
The whole portfolio lived on a single autoplaying reel. Google saw 11 words of text and a title tag reading 'Home'.
sc. 01 — CU
Nothing on the site said 'explainer video', 'product animation' or 'motion design' — the phrases buyers actually type.
sc. 02 — WS
Films were embedded third-party with no VideoObject schema, no transcripts, no thumbnails Google could index.
sc. 03 — MS
The autoplay reel pushed mobile LCP to 5.8 s. Search and buyers on 4G both gave up before frame one.
sc. 04 — ECU
No hreflang, prices in BGN only, and no proof the studio already shipped work for clients in 9 countries.
sc. 05 — OTS
AI Overviews cite clear, answer-first paragraphs. Surova had no pricing, process or timeline text to cite.

03Layering the cels · strategy
Built on our Content Engine plan (content & ai search): a content programme that turns every film into text search can rank and AI can cite. Each layer sits on the one below — the way an animator stacks background, line, colour and shadow.
Four clusters built around how buyers search: explainer videos, product animation, motion design for SaaS, and pricing & process. Each has a pillar page and 6–10 supporting pages that link up to it.
Shipped: 38 pages across 4 clusters
The reel was cut into 20 case pages. Each tells the brief, the script, style frames, the finished film and what it did for the client — written text that ranks, not just video that plays.
Shipped: 20 case pages, 1,100 words each
Every film got its own watch page with VideoObject schema, a transcript, chapter markers and an indexable thumbnail, plus a video sitemap. YouTube descriptions point back to the case page.
Shipped: 64 films marked up
Answer-first paragraphs for the questions buyers ask AI assistants: cost, timelines, how many revisions, 2D vs 3D. Short, quotable, with the studio's own figures.
Shipped: 14 FAQs, 6 comparison blocks
