Inhala. Notice where you are.

Begin with where Quietud actually stood.

The challenge

A calm app with no voice on the open web

English-first meditation apps dominated, and Quietud's only web presence was a landing page with an app-store button.

Spanish is the second most-spoken native language on earth, yet people searching “meditación guiada” in Mexico City were met by translated pages from apps built for San Francisco. Quietud had 240 beautifully recorded sessions, narrated in a Mexican voice, and none of them could be found by search.

The goal: turn a single download button into the library Spanish speakers reach for first, and make every visit a gentle path into the app.

Diagnosis · six findings

  1. Technical01

    One indexable URL

The whole domain was a single landing page with an app-store badge: nothing for Google to rank beyond the brand name.

  2. Technical02

    No app links

No assetlinks.json or apple-app-site-association, so search visitors on mobile could never land inside the app.

  3. Content03

    Audio hidden from crawlers

240 recorded sessions lived only in the app; no transcripts, previews or AudioObject markup.

  4. Language04

    Machine-translated rivals

Competing English-first apps ranked with literal translations that missed how people in Mexico actually search.

  5. Language05

    No dialect signals

No hreflang or es-MX / es-419 / es-ES variants, so the site could not match regional queries.

  6. AI search06

    Nothing to cite

No answer-first copy, author entities or review dates for AI Overviews to quote or attribute.

The strategy: grow a library, slowly, in the right language.

The strategy

Four tactics, one steady rhythm

Built on our Content Engine plan: an editorial engine that publishes, measures and refreshes on a monthly cadence, so growth compounds rather than spikes.

Topic clusters

Seven pillars (sleep, anxiety, learning to meditate, work, family, body, sound), each with 20–60 supporting pages linked hub-and-spoke, so authority pools in the pages that convert.

App indexing

Android App Links and iOS Universal Links on every session page. A visitor who already has Quietud opens the same meditation in-app; one who doesn't hears a 60-second preview first.

AI Overviews

Answer-first openings, numbered steps, HowTo and FAQ schema, named authors and visible review dates, giving AI Overviews something precise, attributable and safe to cite.

Spanish-language SEO

Written natively in Mexican Spanish, not translated, with es-419 and es-ES variants under hreflang. Keyword research ran in Spanish from the start, dialect by dialect.
