Dunavlink relied on word of mouth and did not appear in the map pack for 'IT support Ruse' or any nearby towns along the Danube.
Five technicians, a full helpdesk and offices that stayed for years — but every new client arrived through a recommendation. When an office manager in Ruse typed “IT support” into Google Maps, three competitors came up and Dunavlink did not.
We tracked 30 terms across the city’s neighbourhoods and the towns it serves along the river. At audit, only three were in the map-pack top 3, and all three were one-off repair searches — the lowest-value work the business does.
TP1 · ProfileCritical
Google Business Profile primary category was “Computer store”, so the listing competed with retail, not with IT support providers.
TP2 · ProfileCritical
No service area set. A business that visits offices was invisible to searches from Byala, Slivo Pole or Tutrakan.
TP3 · CitationsHigh
14 directory listings still showed the old address and a disconnected landline, splitting the business across two locations.
TP4 · ReviewsHigh
11 reviews, the newest 19 months old. The three map-pack competitors averaged 74, with replies on most.
TP5 · SiteHigh
One Bulgarian homepage covered everything. No page for managed support, networking or backups, and none per town.
TP6 · SiteMedium
No LocalBusiness markup, no click-to-call on mobile, and the phone number was an image the profile could not match.
TP7 · ProfileMedium
Four photos, no services list, no posts. Google had little to show for a query like “office network setup Ruse”.
TP8 · ContentLow
English-speaking offices in the free-trade zone searched in English; the site had no English copy at all.
